The Ruach Movie Club is a vibrant and engaging community of Hadassah members that convenes at Marmalade Cafe in Sherman Oaks. Taking place every other month on the 2nd Monday, the club offers a unique blend of Happy Hour camaraderie and thoughtful cinematic exploration. Members gather at 5:30 for shmoozing before delving into the main event at 6:00, where we engage in lively discussions about a selected film. Additionally, we stay connected by receiving the latest news and information about Hadassah.

The club operates on a participatory model, with each meeting featuring a volunteer who curates a list of three films in advance. The group then votes to determine which movie they'll collectively watch at home before reconvening for the subsequent meeting. The movie choices span across genres, including classics, contemporary releases, documentaries, dramas, and comedies, ensuring a diverse and enriching cinematic experience for all members. Ruach Movie Club offers a welcoming space for film loving Hadassah women to connect, share their perspectives, and explore the fascinating world of cinema together.
