These are the powerful words of Julie Benbenishty, MSN, PhD, and Naela Hayek, RN, MPH, two exceptional Hadassah nurses — one a Jewish Israeli and one an Arab Israeli — and the founders of NGO "Nurses in the Middle East. Julie was recently named Ambassador by the World Federation of Critical Care Nurses. She serves as trauma coordinator and is on the faculty of our Henrietta Szold Hadassah - Hebrew University School of Nursing in Israel. Naela, formerly the nursing supervisor of Hadassah Ein Kerem’s intensive care, emergency room, cardiology and cardiology ICUs, is now the head nurse of Israel’s Ministry of Welfare and Social Security.

The two will be in New York City to address the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, after which they will visit Hadassah's Wall Street offices for a candid conversation led by Dr. Pennie Sessler Branden, advocate, educator, health care consultant, former liaison to the United Nations for Sigma — and you are invited to watch via Zoom.
