Being Relevant with Dr. Meryle Gellman Friday, June 21, 2024 at 9:30 AM PDT Dr. Meryle Gellman is a contemporary psychoanalyst, psychotherapist, lecturer and author in private practice in West Los Angles since 1985. She received her doctorate in psychoanalysis in the year 2000 from the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis in West Los Angeles, is a former member of the Board of Directors, and is on the faculty and a training supervisor. Dr. Gellman specializes in eating disorders, bipolarity, high conflict divorce and most issues relating to relationships. Her unique style treats emotional discomfort and pain as an avenue for self-discovery and personal growth. She successfully establishes and enhances relationships with others in the world at large. Dr. Gellman’s book, The Confidence Quotient, focuses on the characteristics and symptoms of self-doubt that all of us can recognize. No one is immune to seizures of doubting his or her own ability and potential. Self-doubt can threaten interpersonal relationships, destroy marriages, hinder children’s developmental potential, suppress creative expression or even lead to alcoholism, eating disorders and drug abuse.
